The only downside is that I haven't been able to find a 20x mirror with it's own light. I settled for this one and it is very good but not quite what would be the best for me.For the price this is pretty great. I even bought my friend one. It’s light and bright great for places that don’t have lit magnifying mirrors.I like this for putting on eye make upI purchased this mirror for travel, and ut has been a great option. It is small, so easy to pack, and has some great magnification mirrors that can be attached and detached. It has been a great investment.The square mirror shown in the images is the light source and a regular mirror. The two small round mirrors are the 10x & 20x. Looking at the images, I expected the large mirror to be the magnification mirrors. The reflection of the model in the posting looks magnified.Actually, it’s not compact, meaning not small enough for a purse. It is a perfect size for home use as well as travel. It has the same kind of case design as many iPad’s have, so it is well protected for travel. The lights are bright and it simulates a couple different types of light. Light weight enough to hand hold if you don’t want to or don’t have a place to stand it. I’m very pleased with this purchase.Luckily, I did not buy this mirror for the light feature as it currently does not work. I don't usually use it but when I tested it, it was pretty nifty. May just need to recharge and I assume it will work fine, even though I have not been using that feature. Since working from home, I use the mirror at my desk to get my face lotion on and it is the perfect size for that. I use it vertically most often, but having the ability to choose between the two and have multiple slant options is also very nice. It's been very convenient to be able to securely close it and place it in my desk without worry of it scratching. A mirror is a mirror but I am very happy that I went with this one. The case makes it for me and the cute color is the cherry on top. I'd give 5 stars if the light wasn't so weak, but when it works it does give three features which is nice.The magnified pieces are not lighted! They are actually separate pieces that adhere by suction, and they get no light at all. Very disappointing, as the photos make it look like the entire thing is lit up. It is lightweight and stands up nicely, but I was looking for a magnified mirror that lit up in all areas.
