I actually bought this as a replacement for another wall mounted jewelry box and WOW I could not be more in love with it.It came put together, which considering I'd spent most of the day putting together furniture from other places felt SO amazing. I was pretty worried about getting all the little pieces to fit how they were supposed to if it hadn't been! The jewelry box was nicely packed and had no defects what so ever. It was pretty much a matter of follow the instructions and put it on the wall.Putting it on the wall was a little difficult, just because of how the holes are on the back, but if you use the painter's tape trick off TikTok: it's probably much easier! It was essentially a game of shimmy the item around until it catches on one of the screws.After hanging it up, you just put the 3 AA batteries into the LED box and enjoy :) ! Also, some things to note that also made me quite happy:- This thing does not hold itself closed using magnets, there's actually a little latch mechanism inside of it. So you'll never have to worry about it just flopping open or ever having to replace a magnet the size of a pinhead.- There's a little cut out on the side of the door that you use to open it, so you don't have to get finger prints on the mirror unless you just want to- Both of my mirrors were and still continue to be great! No distortion from what I can tell- I have an obscene amount of earrings, probably upwards of 30 pairs, and the notches for the earrings are deep enough to where you can double stack them into one notch if you want to save space- The necklace hangers are also long enough to where you can put like 30 necklaces on one of them!- The ring holders actually keep your rings in place, so they're not going to just fall out when you open the door- The jewelry box exterior actually does have a faux wood type embossing on it. I was under the impression that it had that smooth, IKEA like finish, which I also like.Overall, it's a great purchase for the money! My last jewelry box like this one cost twice as much and wasn't half as nice to be honest. Thank you!
