I say "Okay" here because the manufacturer (Bassett) sent not one, but TWO defective mirrors through the third-party Amazon vendor. The first had a large crack right across the middle of the mirror, and you could see where the box and accompanying styrofoam had been dented. After talking to the vendor, who was very nice and accommodating, I was told I would get a second mirror and could donate or otherwise dispose of the first one (after getting my money back). The second mirror arrived packaged like a fine painting, the cardboard box encased in very heavy pressed wood that I needed tools to take apart (after I managed to drag it into my house). Overkill, IMO. Anyway, I opened up the mirror and no cracks, BUT there was a very large black thumb print on the frame right near the top. Of course, I attempted to clean it but soon realized it was paint or some other oil-based material that didn't yield to household cleaner. And I didn't want to damage the gold/silver on the frame. Again, I called the vendor and they said they were shocked that Bassett sent this mirror with such an obvious defect. They offered me a 50% discount, which I took because I was done with all this back and forth. I will now try to carefully clean off the thumb print or figure out a way to cover it. So nice mirror but lots of headaches. Vendor (Beyond Stores) should have more of a QA process I guess.
